The Château de Clermont is one of the rare examples of Renaissance architecture in the former Duchy of Savoy. Let yourself be surprised by its monumental facade, its beautiful interior gallery and by the many activities offered from April to October. Fun visits, nocturnal visits, medieval camp, shows, surveys, workshops... You'll be spoiled for choice!

From the middle of the 13th century, the archives attest to the existence of the Château de Clermont, residence of the Counts of Geneva, destroyed in 1630. Its buried remains, protected by the forest, are still studied today by archaeologists and historians. At the foot of the castle, Monseigneur Gallois Regard, a native of the country who became rich and powerful after a career with the popes in Rome, had his pleasure residence built between 1576 and 1580. It is this beautiful building, classified as a Historic Monument, which you can discover today.
