A beautiful outing, where we climb to the village of Chainaz-les-Frasses before “plunging” back to our starting point.
Take the time to cool off at the fountain which is located next to the church.

Through the first foothills of the Massif des Bauges Regional Natural Park, you will discover green nature in a preserved rural setting.

Circuit 10 "Between mountains and ponds" (Albanian MTB-FFC Center)

Around the ponds of Crosagny, this route will lead you to discover a protected flora and fauna.

In front of the station, head west to join the RD 1201 towards Saint Germain La Chambotte. At the playground, turn right on "rue de Savoie" then continue on "route de Pouilly".
Continue on the path then turn right by a path through fields. In the hamlet of Futenex, continue on the “route de Cessens” before turning onto the “chemin des Crochets”.
On the right, go around the farm to reach the hamlet "les Granges" across the field. At the crossroads, continue straight on the "chemin des Granges" before starting a long section through the woods.
After a short stretch of road above the hamlet of "Collonges", take a wooded path heading north to the hamlet "les crouteaux". Take the "chemin des Crouteaux" to the source of the Combe, then continue west along a path through fields.
At the intersection of the black circuit n ° 11, turn right towards the hamlet of “Montdurand”, then turn right alongside the farm to join a rolling path between Saint Germain La Chambotte and Cessens.
At the intersection with the black circuit n ° 11, turn right on a path going up through the woods until you reach the source of the Combe. Then turn left on the path to the hamlet of Dressy and the intersection with the RD 54. Turn right and head towards the hamlet of "Ansigny", then, at the bread oven, take at left to join a path through fields to the hamlet of '"Mazet".
After a short portion of the road, take the “chemin de Ballentrand” towards Bloye.
At the intersection with the RD 910, take straight on the "route du Petit Salagine", then cross the railway line to join the "chemin des Etangs".
Continue on this path until you reach the Crosagny ponds, then head towards the Crosagny mill.
At the mill, turn right onto a path across the field to the "Braille road". Take the forest path opposite to the Saint Félix sports stadium and continue towards the village center.
At the crossroads with the RD 1201, turn right before entering the "rue de Saint Girod", then cross the motorway and turn left after the bridge.
Then, turn right onto a forest path in the direction of Saint Girod and the hamlet of "Chamberaz". At this locality, take the direction of Chainaz-les-Frasses then take another path to the hamlet "Les Lansards".
In the hamlet turn right in the direction of the administrative center of Saint Girod, then take the last road on the left at the exit of the locality.
Then continue across the field to reach the capital of Saint Girod.
In front of the Town Hall, head south towards Aix-les-Bains, then take a path on the right at the exit of the hamlet. Then continue on this path until a passage under the motorway, then head north and head towards "La Deysse".
Cross the river, then, at the intersection with the “route d'Orly”, cross the railway line to take the “Chemin Sous-Bois” to return to Albens station.

La Touvière mountain bike route: from Leschaux to Saint-Eustache

Pleasant mountain biking or electrically assisted route that allows you to connect Leschaux to Saint-Eustache. The return is done partly by the same path, a detour by a small road will allow you to discover the hamlet of La Touvière.
Forest, panoramas are on the program for this outing.
For information, the Saint-Eustache-la Boucle du Laudon route, added to that of La Touvière, is a great day out. Itinerary can also be done on foot
Practical information :
Access: all year round except after heavy rains, and not recommended during periods of frost and snow
Please stay on the path and respect private property and close the fences if necessary.

Circuit 17 - Le Clergeon (Albanian MTB-FFC center)

A very sporty course which offers many points of view and beautiful technical descents.

Difficulty: black.

This circuit will be more accessible by electric mountain bike (be sure to manage your battery)

After crossing Rumilly through its historic center, join the Bois de la Salle trails and begin your ascent to Moye. Once on the plateau, take advantage of the country and forest lanes to descend to the Le Parmand stream. Cross the RD317 and continue on the narrow path along the pasture, your ascent to the Clergeon ridges begins here. Join the Chapelle Saint-Jean, a nice viewpoint and a bench will be an opportunity to take a break before starting the most difficult part.

You will continue your ascent in the Clergeon forest, between forest paths and singles, and will arrive in the Savoie department, where a superb view of the Rhône and the Grand Colombier awaits you.

The trail continues along the ridge, in the middle of the descent you will be able to take the variant.

You will then go up in the forest to go to Moye. Take the time to make a small detour (2km round trip) to the top of Mont Clergeon, a superb panorama will allow you to observe the Alpine Range (Semnoz, Aravis, Bauges, Mont-Blanc,…).

You will then descend by the technical Gallets path to join a wider path. Between small roads and rural paths, you will reach the Bois de la Salle and end your route by the same route as on the outward journey.

Circuit 18 - Milk stations (Albanian MTB-FFC center)

Sports course in the heart of the Albanian countryside. You will be able to enjoy many points of view on the Semnoz, the Bauges, the Mont-Blanc ... and pretty singles downhill.

Difficulty: red.

This circuit is well suited to electric mountain biking.

Take the cycle lanes out of Rumilly via the ZAE de Madrid, then follow the railway line for about 2 km. You will pass by a llama farm in the hamlet of Salagine (visit by appointment).

Cross the railway line then the RD910 (be careful) and climb towards Ansigny on rural paths. You will continue on a section of road alternating with dirt roads to Ligny. Be vigilant of other users of the route (pedestrians and riders). You can enjoy an orientation table and a nice viewpoint before passing in front of the Chapelle de Ligny. Alternating small tarred portions and rural paths with different points of view (Bauges, Albanais,…) you will join a pleasant forest single downhill until you cross a small stream. Further on, a final ascent on the road and a rapid descent will take you to the equestrian center "Les Écuries des Pious" in Bloye. End the route with the same route as the outward journey. You can also take a detour to the Etangs de Crosagny natural site (1,5 km flat round trip).

Circuit 7 - La Cuséenne (Albanian MTB-FFC Center)

Departing from Cusy, set off for about twenty kilometers in the heart of rural landscapes with endless charms. A real treat !

This varied route winds between forest, meadows and grove and offers hikers magnificent views of the Albanian hills.

Circuit 9 - Les Châtaigneraies (Albanian MTB-FFC center)

Sports course in the heart of chestnut groves, alternating forest trails and views of the massifs. You will also pass the very pretty Jardins Secrets site.

Difficulty: red.
Go up the road towards Saint-Eusèbe, then join a path leading to the Secret Gardens (visit from April to October).

Continue towards Saint-Eusèbe on a small rural road. You will be able to take advantage of the beautiful points of view which are offered to you, in particular on Le Clergeon, the Mountain of the Princes and the Albanian.

After the church of Villard, a short but intense climb awaits you.

In the hamlet of Bettes, beautiful descent to Sallongy, then you will climb to the Angely pass (former parachuting zone of the 2nd World War).

You will begin the descent through the forest to Vaulx.

You will reach the starting point via Fresnes (oratory and private castle) on a forest path.

Circuit 8 - The old oven (Albanian MTB-FFC center)

A beautiful ride for mountain bikers looking for an easy route with the magnificent view of the Alpine chain as the highlight.

Difficulty: blue.
Go up the road towards Saint-Eusèbe, then join a path leading to the Secret Gardens (visit from April to October).

Continue towards Saint-Eusèbe on a small rural road. You will be able to take advantage of the beautiful points of view which are offered to you, in particular on Le Clergeon, the Mountain of the Princes and the Albanian.

After the church of Villard, a short but intense climb awaits you.

Take wide and wooded paths to reach your starting point.

You will be able to observe an old (private) bread oven before your arrival.

Circuit 5 - Roundwoods (Albanian MTB-FFC Center)

A compendium of everything you love in mountain biking: beautiful climbs for the effort, a technical descent and a superb passage along the Chéran for freshness.

Difficulty: blue.
The departure can be made from the Boussy village hall or from the Rumilly leisure center (in this case take the Chéran footbridge to reach the departure point in 5 minutes).

Go up to the Château de Pieuillet (alternating roads and paths over 4 km) to reach the capital of Marcellaz-Albanais. Be careful when crossing the RD16.

Head towards the Marais de Praille, then towards Chaunu through wooded paths.

Enjoy beautiful views of the Albanian plain and the Bauges during your descent which ends with a nice "single" (narrow path).

On this portion, you can see the Château de Lupigny (private stronghold).

The end of your journey will be very pleasant and shaded on the banks of the Chéran. Be careful because this part of the trail is also popular with walkers.

After the effort, you can cool off at the Rumilly lake.

Circuit 4 - Le Bois au loup (Albanian MTB-FFC Center)

A route punctuated by climbs and beautiful descents on wide paths. Take the time to stop to admire the magnificent views available to you.

Difficulty: blue.
From the car park, after a small section of road to leave the capital, you will climb through the Praille marshes to the RD38 which you will follow then cross with caution.

You will go up a small country road until you reach the RD16 (be careful).

You will then take rural and forest paths in a beautiful natural setting to reach the Fier by beautiful descents. Beautiful views are available to you.

You will go up towards the Château de Pieuillet (private). Take care when crossing the RD 16.

You will finish your ascent to Marcellaz-Albanais.

Circuit 3 - La Salesienne (Albanian MTB-FFC Center)

A small country loop ideal for effortless mountain biking. Take advantage of the bucolic and natural setting that surrounds you, with a detour via the Coppet Bridge.

Difficulty: green.
You will walk, alternating road and rural path, in the direction of Pont Coppet. Be careful when crossing the RD3.

On your way, you will appreciate a nice little passage over a stream.

Then, a small detour is necessary (2 km round trip) to discover the Pont Coppet, a magnificent stone bridge which overhangs the Fier.

You will take the RD3 for 650 m (be careful), then join the rural paths.

After a last short climb, you will reach the equestrian center "L'île verte".

The opportunity to get to know the horses, ponies and other farm animals (visit and activities possible by appointment).

Circuit 2 - Les Vergers (Albanian MTB-FFC Center)

Family circuit, mainly on a path, which will take you along the typical Albanian orchards. All along the route you can also admire a beautiful built heritage (castles and private fortified houses).

Difficulty: green.
Shortly after the start, a descent to a ford will force the less experienced to control their speed.

Then the path climbs up to the heights of Vallières-sur-Fier where you can observe beautiful views before descending to Verlioz. Carefully cross the RD14.

You will pass near the Thomas Le Prince company, specializing in fruit processing. You can discover their products in their direct sales store.

Then, as you approach Le Fier, take the detour (150 meters) to Pont Coppet, one of the oldest bridges in Haute-Savoie (built in 1626).

Be careful when crossing the RD910.

Then walk quietly through the many orchards, along the Fier. It is possible by making a small detour to discover a dam.

A final climb will take you to the capital.

Circuit 1 - The Doors of the Albanian (Albanian MTB-FFC Center)

Departing from Crempigny, travel 21 kilometers in the heart of typical Albanian rural landscapes, with beautiful panoramas of the surrounding massifs and a passage at the foot of the Château de Clermont.

Difficulty: blue.
After having covered 3 km of uphill on the road, you will reach wide forest paths which will lead you to the foot of the Château de Clermont. The opportunity to stop in a historic site which offers a magnificent panorama (visit possible from May to September).

A descent on the path will then offer you different points of view on the Alpine massifs.

Remain vigilant, you will then take a portion of 600 m downhill on the departmental road.

Then, you will go up quietly, alternating path and road to reach the starting point. On this last section, near Versonnex, stop to observe the oratory of the Tour de Crête in the forest (signposts).

Circuit 6 - The ponds of Crosagny (Albanian MTB-FFC Center)

One of our favorite circuits for a family outing, easy and fun. You will discover the protected natural site of the Etangs de Crosagny.

Difficulty: green.
Take the cycle lanes out of Rumilly via the ZAE de Madrid, then follow the railway line for about 2 km. You will pass by a llama farm (visit by appointment), before reaching the Ponds of Crosagny.

On this site, enjoy the peace and nature that surrounds you. Thanks to an observatory, you can admire the wild fauna and flora. Extend your walk to the mill.

A small climb awaits you at the exit of the ponds.

You will then join rural and forest paths. Take the RD240 then the cycle lane along the Balvey Zone to the leisure center.
