We leave the hustle and bustle behind to immerse ourselves in the tranquility of the unspoiled woods. Jardins Secret, where our accommodation for the night is located.
Our refuge? One of the 5 Micro Palacesthese microarchitectures refined and comfortable nestled in the heart of nature.
After a night peaceful and cozyIt is in the early morning, to the sweet song of the birds, that the day begins with a breakfast made up of local products.
The goal? To be the first to enter the lair of the Secret Gardens as soon as they arrive. Opening at 10:30 am.
Arriving first thing in the morning means taking advantage of the morning freshness and plays of light that pass through the patios, the galleries and the arcades.
Patiently crafted by hand over more than 40 years, these gardens are a true handcrafted masterpiece which turns out to be like a treasure chest.
12:30 PM: Lunch break to the sound of the fountains
What do they serve at Jardins Secrets? Set menus and à la carte options.
After taking his time strolling among the mosaics, rose bushes, and shady corners, the sun reaches its zenith. It's the perfect moment for a break at the Light refreshments at the Secret Gardens.
Here, lunch isn't just about grabbing a quick bite. You can settle in the shade of a patio or on the terrace… unless you're tempted by the tables discreetly nestled under the cool shade of the wisteria. A perfect setting, soothed by the murmur of fountains, to prolong the magic of the place a little longer.
The menu gives pride of place to fresh, seasonal produce.
Two filled breads are offered, prepared from carefully selected ingredients. The Garden Bread combines homemade pesto, heirloom tomatoes, fresh farm-made goat cheese, and green salad, while the Fresh Bread mixes fresh cheese, coppa, cucumber, grated carrots, salad and roasted pumpkin and sunflower seeds.
Colorful, generous recipes, perfect for a summer break.
To finish on a sweet note, two homemade desserts are offered: a fromage blanc with apricot compote and its speculoos crumble, or a melon and watermelon salad flavored with fresh mint picked from the garden.
All this is accompanied by a syrup, a homemade non-alcoholic cocktail, a glass of wine, or a local craft beer. During this lunch break, people chat in hushed tones, admire the details… and completely lose track of time.

14 p.m.: Great ideas to continue your day
The real insider tip for regulars? The famous sugar doughnuts accompanied by a Mint flavored tea, served every afternoon from 14 p.m. A special treat awaits you with Alain, the founder of Les Jardins Secrets, who often has the pleasure of personally serving visitors. It seems that a visit to Les Jardins Secrets wouldn't be quite the same without this delicious break.
Once satiated and refreshed, the afternoon can still hold some pleasant surprises.
