The trail combines discovery, nature and sport
Before reaching the observation tower, you'll pass an old metal charcoal kiln. You can also observe the Grande Cuve, a geological collapse of this karst massif carved out by water erosion. The trail, located in the heart of the forest, is accessible to all ages and abilities with appropriate footwear.
Located halfway along the loop, the observation tower, built entirely from French oak and spruce, will give you a new perspective. Comprising three levels, it allows you to ascend more than 10 meters above the ground. At the top, no treetops will obstruct the magnificent 360° view of the forest and mountains.
Although access to the observation tower is secure, do not climb any part of the structure and supervise your children. Stay on the stairs and platforms;
Do not light fires in the forest.

For people with reduced mobility or those who suffer from vertigo, you can also enjoy this exceptional panorama from the Mont du Clergeon viewpoint. It is accessible via a 200-meter path with slopes suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. You will enjoy views of the Albanais region, the Bornes mountain range, the Bauges mountains, the Aravis mountain range, and even Mont Blanc. Several parking spaces (including accessible spaces) have been created to facilitate access to the viewpoint and observation tower. An accessible picnic table has been installed at the viewpoint. The trailhead is located at the Monts du Clergeon viewpoint parking area, on the D231 road.
