Learning to ride a horse begins long before you put your feet in the stirrups.Kheilan breeding, in Bloye, near Rumilly, the children's horse riding lessons Lessons start as early as age 2. Here, children learn not only how to ride and progress in the saddle, but also how to observe their pony, understand its reactions, and build a real relationship with it. This approach to riding emphasizes trust, independence, and respect for the animal.
With sessions in small groups of 6 children maximum, Laura's approach makes the children as eager to progress as they are to see their pony again the following week.

Before getting on a pony, we lay the groundwork and get to know each other.
Because a pony is not a bicycle — and sometimes has its own little personality — everything doesn't start once you're in the saddle.
At each session, the children participate in the preparing their ponyWe brush, we cuddle, we set up the equipment… this is where the learning begins.
Even the equipment has been designed with young riders in mind.
Alongside Laura, the children also learn to observe their pony and understand its behavior. Groundwork is thus an integral part of riding lessons , just as much as riding. How do you approach the pony or ask it to move forward? How does it react to our voice or gestures? It's when they begin to understand each other better that progress is truly felt.
As the sessions progress, they do more and more on their own — and they are generally quite proud of that.

Horse riding lessons where children progress at their own pace
Over the course of the sessions, the children discover the basics of horseback riding and progress at their own pace. Balance, position, direction, independence… the learning evolves with them and small successes begin to accumulate.
Having graduated with a BPJEPS qualification and trained in ethological horsemanship , Laura places the understanding and well-being of the horse at the heart of her teaching.
The idea is therefore not just to learn how to move forward, turn or stop. The children also discover why their pony reacts in a certain way and how to adapt.
For children aged 6-13 , the lessons allow for real progression, up to Galops 1 to 4 , with new objectives to achieve throughout the year. And above all, they start to develop a routine at the club: the friends they see every week, the ponies they get to know better and better, and, of course, THE favorite little one they hope to ride every time.
Ultimately, horse riding will teach them many things… far beyond how to ride.

What if we tried horse riding lessons when school resumes?
Dance, football, gymnastics, music…
Every year, the same question arises: "What should we register him for this year?".
Choosing horseback riding as a year-round activity also means offering them a place where grow.
Session after session, the children gradually find their place with the ponies. Their movements become more confident, they need less help preparing their companion, and they naturally take on small responsibilities. Independence grows along with confidence. And beyond the rider's progress, parents also see lovely changes in their children's daily lives.
